Agriturismo Piccola Raieda is a center specialized in
walks and
trekking , immersed in the green pastures and centuries-old woods typical of the Apennine farmhouse.
The traditional farmhouse is located in a strategic position between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, just 20 minutes from Bologna and 45 minutes from Florence, 500 meters above sea level and within the unspoiled Contrafforte Pliocenico Nature Reserve.
Agriturismo Piccola Raieda extends over an area of ten hectares, within which horses, poultry animals are bred and there is a cultivation of aromatic plants, vegetables, and cherries. We also produce fantastic honey and delicious jams.
Piccola Raieda specializes in the
organization of horse riding holidays ; all guests can in fact follow our
riding lessons (ideal for beginners who wish to approach the practice) and take part in the beautiful
horseback riding and
trekking equestrian that wind along the suggestive paths between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany.
For guests who want to stay with their own horse, moreover, accommodation in large paddocks with shelter is provided, for others, all activities are accessible on the horses of the farm, all reliable specimens, well cared for and perfect for everyone. the levels of preparation of the rider.

Mountain-biking and
trekking on foot , will be able to enjoy the splendid routes within the
Natural Reserve of the Pliocene Contrafforte : in a farmhouse we will provide you with trail maps.
The hospitality of
Piccola Raieda is top notch, with two comfortable double bedrooms with private bathroom, a large one bedroom apartment and a large studio apartment, both with bathrooms. One of the double bedrooms is equipped for disabled guests.
At Piccola Raieda you can also take a leap into local flavors, thanks to a Restaurant with home cooking in the most rigorous Emilian tradition, served in the old stone stable with fireplace now transformed into a dining room for guests.
