Amici del Cavallo

The origins of the center date back to 1992, when a group of horse riding enthusiasts from Olgiate Comasco and neighboring areas decided to join together to organize a horse gymkhana at a sports center in the town in the province of Como, with a great success participants and public.

The following year, on the occasion of the first costume equestrian carnival, with participants on horseback in medieval costume, the definitive name of the nascent association was chosen: Amici del Cavallo - Olgiate Comasco.

Since that year the association has not stopped, organizing more and more opportunities for passionate children and adults, giving life to equestrian shows, equestrian presentations and parades, vaquera taming demonstrations and much more.

In the sector of equestrian and competitive tourism, the association is a point of reference for all horse owners in the area who actively participate in the life of the centre, taking part in competitions, rallies or horseback excursions in the nature that are organized periodically.
