The Il Panigale Western Riding Center is located just 25 minutes from Bologna and 35 from Florence, in one of the most beautiful Apennine areas of Italy, characterized by a suggestive fusion of nature, history, traditions and gastronomy.
We offer horseback trekking of different durations and levels of difficulty:
Short rings suitable for beginners and/or less trained riders:
- Anello del Faldo - short walk from 1 hour to 2 hours
- Anello dei Santoni - short 1 hour walk in the woods on path 023 to Pian del Spero
- Anello dei Cucchi - very suggestive 3-hour walk
- Anello dei Confienti - suggestive walk with a strong historical value lasting approximately 3 and a half hours
Rings to ride in one day suitable for medium-high experience riders:
- Trekking del Gusto - wonderful trekking of about 7 hours with the possibility of tasting cured meats, cheeses and home-made Tuscan cuisine.
- Trekking Eolo - wonderful 6-hour trek
- Sanctuary trek - mystical trek of approximately 8 hours
- Trekking of the Lake - suggestive trekking up to the S. Maria basin
Trekking from 2 to more days:
- Moscheta trek - suggestive from a naturalistic and landscape point of view, to be done in 2 days
- Trekking of Poggio di Petto - challenging and wonderful route to be covered in 2 or more days depending on the physical preparation of the riders
- Monte Termine Trekking - medium difficulty trek also suitable for people doing this experience for the first time, it takes 2 days
- Trekking del Cimone - the best of trekking, suitable for very expert and trained people, an experience that will remain alive in the memories; to be covered in 3 days
- Trekking of the Two Lakes - wonderful trekking in the regional park of the two lakes, exceptional from a naturalistic and landscape point of view to be covered in two days with an overnight stay in the structure.
- Trekking of Tavianella - an extension of the trekking of the Sanctuary of Bocca di Rio, you arrive at Mount Tavianella where the camp is prepared for the overnight stay in a tent; we have dinner around the fire and the next morning we return to the centre
Upon request of the participants, all treks can be organized with overnight stay in a tent and support.
The Il Panigale Western Riding Center is also a renowned riding school that offers courses for adults and children, organized to impart various disciplines with competence and safety, including:
- Country Horse Riding and Trekking
- American horse riding (preparatory to specialty disciplines)
- Pony Club with entertainment forchildren
