Autumn/Winter Trekking

The program includes approximately 25 hours in the saddle, with a Trekking in Margherita: every day you will travel through areas of cultural and landscape interest (Roman remains, old sulfur mines, the salt road, Poggio Ferro) with return in the evening. Between pace, trot and gallop, you will reach the resting places, where horses and riders can rest, tasting the typical products directly from the producer (wine, oil, cheeses, cured meats)

You will reach the Albegna river, passing through the Etruscan town of Ghiaccioforte, with a picnic. The last day will stop in Scansano: visit to the market, route through Civitella, an ancient Roman village, passage to the old customs house that runs alongside the Petreto Convent up to Borgo La Croce and from there straight towards the stables.

A support car will always be present for any needs.

Trekking on Horseback: Experts

Always aimed at those who have experience and confidence in the three gaits, it includes 6 outings ranging from 2h30 to 4h30 for a total of around 17 hours in the saddle. White roads and old customs will wind along the horseback riding routes, between white roads, old customs and natural, intact and wild landscapes. There is also a 2-hour course on understanding horse behavior, with explanations, videos and paper support.
