Il Tralcio is the amateur sports association created in October 2007 for the dissemination of knowledge and the increase in the practice of equestrian sports and to facilitate access to a life in the open air and in contact with nature.
Riding a horse, near Il Tralcio, has many meanings:
To train and educate: for our team, horse riding is a means of learning to manage and control one's fears and leave one's limits behind, right from the first basic learning opportunities.
To get to know these splendid animals: we do not consider the horse a means of transport, but an active part of the "game", a companion and co-protagonist who we teach to respect and approach with gentle methods.
To get in touch with the environment: helped by the strategic position of the centre, immersed in the 248,000 square meters that make up the land of the farm, we have created a healthy environment in which we can get to know nature and in which it will be possible to have suggestive encounters with a variety of wildlife, including pheasants, hares, herons, storks and, more difficult to intercept, roe deer. There is a HUNTING BAN on the entire farm, which we requested and obtained by order of the Mayor of Reggio Emilia.
To have fun: each of our activities is designed to follow the student's natural learning rhythm, a rule that should always be respected when practicing sports; at Il Tralcio we never forget to have fun.
Finally, all the proposals ofIl Tralcio are organized in complete safety,which is why we provide our members with the best insurance coverage paid by the Unione Italiana Sport Per Tutti - UISP-, SEF-Italia and of CNS-Fiamma, all associations to which we are affiliated.
Our staff is entirely made up of Technical Instructors who individually have additional personal insurance, which guarantees further protection for all our students both during educational activities and in equestrian tourism.
