The Cerrina Race Track was founded in 1999 on what was the famous Cerrina kart track, which hosted the European (now world) championships in 1972.
This is the first structure dedicated to karting to be built in the Piedmont area, designed and built to accommodate non-professional users in complete safety, thus allowing even non-professional drivers to compete on a circuit which, due to its track and size is decidedly superior to many international tracks.
The length of the track varies depending on the race organized but varies from the minimum of 490 meters for the undemanding sprint races, up to over a kilometer in length for more complex races; the width, however, on average is never less than 8 metres.
The peculiarity of Cerrina Race Track is that it combines in a single track the characteristics of an outdoor track, with long straights and wide-radius curves, and the succession of short-distance curves more typical of indoors.
The club's fleet of vehicles is complete and ready to satisfy all types of users, starting from the safe mini karts on board which children and teenagers between 7 and 14 years old will be able to feel like full-fledged drivers on a track of their own reserved and totally safe, and up to 20 hp, semi-professional vehicles intended for the more practical.
For corporate events or amateur races organized between friends, the club makes Honda 200 vehicles available for rental, carefully serviced on a periodic basis, in order to maintain a high level of performance.
The Cerrina circuit is equipped with a precise computerized timing system which records the times set on the track and transmits them to the scoreboard, thus making any type of race organisable, from short and fast short track competitions to demanding ones. team endurance.
Among the non-competitive activities that the circuit offers, there are also interesting possibilities, such as preparatory courses for children or multi-race trophies with timed trials and multi-sport tournaments that combine five-a-side football and beach volleyball with karting.
The Cerrina Race Track has special spaces inside for the on-site organization of all the sporting possibilities presented: synthetic grass field, beach volleyball and beach soccer field as well as a field soapy for football competitions.
The refreshment area consists of a comfortable bar from which it will be possible to have a complete view of all the activities.
