The Valle del Seveso Intersectional School has been part of the Italian Alpine Club schools circuit for more than thirty years and its activities are aimed at teaching and practicing climbing and skiing mountaineering.

Making use of expert and highly qualified guides and instructors, the School organizes courses following the safety directives and programs of the Italian Alpine Club.

All activities have the aim of bringing participants closer to the world of the mountains in a responsible and fun way, providing them with a wealth of technical and ethical knowledge.

Description of Scuola Intersezionale Valle del Seveso Skiing

The Valle del Seveso Ski Intersectional School organizes ski mountaineering courses based on the directives of the Italian Alpine Club.

These courses are aimed at those ski mountaineers of good ability, who intend to perfect and deepen their technique (acquired during an introductory SA1 course).

The lessons aim to teach technical, ethical and safety elements and are based on the friendship and socialization of the participants.

During mountain outings each participant, student or instructor, must behave in full respect of the characteristics of each person and the surrounding environment.

Description of Scuola Intersezionale Valle del Seveso Climbing

The Valle del Seveso Climbing Intersectional School offers its members a Free Climbing course aimed at learning the techniques and basic movements to safely tackle easy single pitches on the crag, equipped with sporting criteria.

The lesson program focuses mainly on aspects related to the gesture and movement necessary for the practice of climbing at the crag (limiting the technical aspects).

Participation in the course is reserved for CAI members over the age of 15.

Individual equipment must include:

  • low sling
  • helmet
  • climbing shoes
  • 1 x 22kn wide base screw carabiner
  • 1 22kn small locking carabiner
  • 8mm nylon (or Kevlar) cord 1.5m long or 60cm pre-sewn webbing
  • rope5 quickdraws

The Valle del Seveso Climbing Intersectional School also organizes rock climbing courses (natural continuation of the mountaineering course) with the aim of teaching all the techniques necessary to tackle rock climbing safely.< /p>
