Paintball has its roots in Canada in the 1980s , when markers (rifles used in battles) were used by loggers to mark trees that needed to be cut.
It is said that the first paintball game was played when one of the woodcutters, for fun, shot the other who decided to pay him back with the same coin.
Since then this sport has taken hold more and more , up to the present day, in which it is now a very common activity if you want to give yourself a few hours of leisure .
It is also a very safe sport: players are always provided with special protections and the balls that are shot are filled with absolutely non-toxic and biodegradable paint .
The playing field is beautiful , full of natural spaces and buildings aimed at fueling the resemblance to a battlefield.
