Description of Centro Nautico di Levante

Centro Nautico di Levante is based in Turin, the city where all the administrative offices are located, while it has two splendid nautical bases located in strategic and beautiful sea points in Liguria, at the Marina Porto Mirabello (in the Gulf of La Spezia), and in Sardinia, in Porto Istana .

The center has existed since 1982, but remains a non-profit association until the most recent year 2006, the year in which it applies an entrepreneurial imprint to all the experience gained in the previous decades and becomes a non-profit Sports Amateur SRL.
In 2006 it became an amateur sports limited liability company (non-profit).

A team of experts organize courses of all levels for adults and children , to learn how to sail, from both marine bases of the Nautical Center, but the proposals of Levante are not limited to the already rich apparatus didactic, in fact extend to many other possibilities such as:

  • proposal of weekly cruises and sailing holidays ( open to fishing, snorkeling etc),
  • team participation in regattas of the Italian championships,
  • courses for obtaining nautical licenses .
Projects related to the sea and the awareness of this environment are organized at the request of schools and universities.
For those who have already passed the navigation courses and have a nautical license, the boats that make up the fleet of Centro Nautico di Levante are available for rental .
