Description of Centro Nautico di Levante

Centro Nautico di Levante is based in Turin, the city where all the administrative offices are located, while it has two splendid nautical bases positioned in strategic and beautiful seaside locations in Liguria, at the Marina Porto Mirabello (in the Gulf of La Spezia), and in Sardinia, in Porto Istana.

The center has existed since 1982, but remained a non-profit association until the most recent year 2006, the year in which it applied an entrepreneurial imprint to all the experience gained in the previous decades and became a non-profit Amateur Sports LLC.
In 2006 it transformed into an amateur sports limited company (non-profit).

A team of experts organize courses of all levels for adults and children, to learn to sail, from both marine bases of the Nautical Center, but Levante's proposals are not limited to the already rich apparatus educational, in fact they extend to many other possibilities such as:

  • proposal for weekly cruises and sailing holidays (open to fishing, snorkeling, etc.),
  • team participation in regattas of the Italian championships
  • courses for obtaining nautical licenses.
Projects related to the sea and awareness of this environment are organized upon request of schools and universities.
For those who have already passed the navigation courses and have a nautical license, the boats that make up the Centro Nautico di Levante fleet are available for rental.
