Founded in 1980, the West Garda Yacht Club has always dedicated itself to starting groups of children and adults to practice sailing, a sport that enthusiastically combines sporting spirit and nature in healthy fun. everyone agrees: those who want to have fun, those who do not give up sun and lake or sea, competition and movement.
The club is a valid point of reference for the promotion and development of boating and the sport of sailing in general.
The center organizes sailing courses for all ages, from children to adults with different and versatile types that make it a real point of reference in the vast panorama of sailing schools on Lake Garda.
The sailing school has very good instructors (qualified and recognized by both FIV and CONI) who spread the teaching with seriousness, commitment, availability and joy to make this sport stimulating, a wonderful journey in contact with nature.
The sailing courses for children and teenagers start in June, immediately after school closes, and end in September, upon request to extend them even in the autumn phases. For adults, courses all year round with the organization of specific internships, meetings aimed at courses. For those under 16, courses are held mainly in the summer from the morning, from 9.00 to 17.00. To make it easier for parents, students will be welcomed from 8.15 am.
Lessons will take place with a minimum of 5 people per course. For adults there are lessons both in the morning and in the afternoon, to be agreed with the instructors.
