Yachting Club Torri was born in the winter of 1948 by a group of young sailing enthusiasts from Verona who had their summer residences in the small village of Torri del Benaco, the pearl of Lake Garda . It was the first club opened in the province of Verona.
The Club, which currently has about 200 members, still has the same location as at that time, but has come a long way becoming a real breeding ground for international champions.
The sailing school organized by the Yachting Club Torri provides courses for both children and adults. The courses organized by the sailing school take place from Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00 or 2 weekends then on Saturday and Sunday with the possibility of choosing the time.
The boats of the nautical center includes an optimist fleet for the little ones, a laser fleet and 2 470 boats.
