Scuola Monte Amiata Ovest

Scuola Monte Amiata Ovest was born in 1985 from the passion for skiing of a close-knit group of instructors. Over the years the staff has expanded to reach 20 members.

The School's activity is aimed at teaching skiing and promoting initiatives aimed at local Ski Clubs and schools.

Mount Amiata, from December to March, is one of the most complete and fascinating ski areas in Tuscany and central-southern Italy.

On the sides of the mountain, from the bases of Prato della Contessa, Prato delle Macinaie and Marsiliana, about fifteen lifts ascend and the slopes have had a modern artificial snow system for two years.

Our instructors will help beginners to approach skiing with confidence and more experts to fine-tune their technique according to the most modern teaching and methodologies.
