The Orazio Malavasi Parachuting School has been a point of reference for the practice and dissemination of sports parachuting for more than thirty years, certifying and training hundreds of aspiring parachutists who then continued their activities in the field of parachuting in the skies of Vercelli, some even with excellent sporting results.
The school is located near the Carlo Del Prete airport and thanks to its location, in the north-western part of the Po Valley, it can be easily reached from the main metropolitan centers in the area. Novara is just 20 minutes away by car, while Milan and Varese are only 45 minutes away.
The center is open every weekend of the year and even on public holidays.
The aircraft we use is a Pilatus PC-6. The aircraft allows us to reach a launch altitude of even 4200 m.

The school has numerous parachutes for its students and for those who wish to rent material for their business. For beginners, Telesis harnesses equipped with a Navigator main parachute (240 to 280 square feet) manufactured by Performance Designs are available, a guarantee when it comes to canopies. Under the advice of the instructors, intermediate size sails suitable for those with a few more jumps can also be used.
The landing area is large and free of significant obstacles, suitable for all types of parachutists, in fact it extends for the entirety of the take-off runway which measures 800 meters and is located on the southern outskirts of the city of Vercelli.
Inside the structure you can also find a welcoming bar-restaurant open both during the day and in the evening for aperitifs and post-activity dinners.
