My passion and dedication have always been linked to nature and the animals that inhabit it. After obtaining my degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences, I immersed myself in scientific research of arctic-alpine species.
However, my passion for outreach led me to also become an Environmental Hiking Guide, accompanying explorers through the Alps and Northern Europe since 2000, sharing my love for nature.
In addition, I enjoy naturalistic photography, although I do not consider myself a photographer in the conventional sense. I prefer to live in the moment rather than capture it through a lens.
My studies and my command of English have led me to live and travel frequently throughout Northern Europe, discovering its most remote and least known corners. My understanding of Anglo-Saxon and Italian culture allows me to organize different trips and excursions, where knowledge of the territory merges with the meeting of local people and traditions.
Over time, I have obtained the qualifications of Gran Paradiso National Park Guide, Mont Avic Natural Park Guide and Mining Guide, which has allowed me to further specialize in the knowledge and exploration of these natural environments.< /p>
Born in Umbria, I moved to the Aosta Valley in 2007 for the pure and unconditional love of the mountains.
With experience as a university researcher in zoology and conservation and management of natural resources, I went from scientific to informative communication, convinced that changes must emerge from below and that to change it is necessary to know.
In my work as a guide, I always seek to empathically share my knowledge about nature and its dynamics, at least the known ones. I love all mountain sports and I enjoy practicing as many as possible, because it is in contact with nature, in any of its forms, where I manage to reconcile mind and spirit and find a dynamic balance, a source of energy and serenity.
Over time, I have specialized, obtaining the qualification of Gran Paradiso National Park Guide and Mining Guide.
