With 11 years of experience in kiting, the Bit Of Salt Kitesurf School has developed truly effective teaching techniques and teaching methods, exploiting "la breva", the characteristic thermal wind of Lake Como with an average intensity between 12 and 16 knots.

The school is a recognized and affiliated IKO center and at the end of each course a certificate will be issued which certifies the level achieved.

The teaching method from the boat allows the student to learn in total safety, away from the beach, swimmers and any obstacles. The course is structured into two lessons on land (one theory and one practice), followed by those in the water.

The instructor follows the students with the support of Casci Radio. The staff will advise each student on the ideal path to undertake and, for those who have particular needs or want a personalized service, the new Personal Trainer service is ideal!

Bit Of Salt Windsurf is a school located on the Colico lido (Lake Como) that offers the best learning conditions:

• sandy seabed without stones and rocks
• absence of algae
• shallow water at waist height for more than 100 m. from shore
• crosswind (parallel to the beach)

These features guarantee safety and practicality, especially for beginners who need to practice maneuvers or perfect themselves with the trapeze.

The school is a VDWS center and international level licenses are issued at the end of the courses.

The teaching proposals are as follows:

• Personal Trainer - to work in a personalized way and with personalized schedules
• Basic Morning Course - first step to enter the world of windsurfing and is reserved for those who have never had any experience
• Advanced Late Morning/Afternoon Course - direct consequence of the complete basic course, to gain confidence in slightly stronger winds and learn new maneuvers such as fast jibe, starting from the beach, principles of using the harness and principle of use of the straps
• Single Lesson - 2 ½ hour lesson which can be used in both the basic and advanced courses; the lesson program can be customized according to the student's needs
• Children's Courses - windsurfing is a sport recommended for children, even the youngest, because it consists of a complete discipline for all the muscles, in contact with nature and in which discipline is fundamental
