Our club was born way back in 1975 and its founders had the objective of practicing sailing and sport fishing at an amateur and competitive level. Currently our center is a strong reality, a point of reference especially as regards the training of young people in various areas of marine sports, with attention paid to sport fishing and sailing in particular.

Circolo Nautico Il Corallo Pesca invites you to come to Sicily, in the province of Agrigento at the magnificent port of Sciacca Terme.

Our club has been a leader in the practice of sport fishing in Sicily for years. Come with us to participate in competitions and social championships, we are affiliated with the F. I. P. S. A. S and we respect its regulations, statutes, rules and standards.

Our mission is to convey this passion of ours to all people who love the sea like us, especially young people, because we want them to learn the value of life on a boat, of fishing and the ability to live together in a group. The others will certainly not be excluded, on the contrary, they will be welcome. We are confident that you will be thrilled to share your experiences, trips and results with your friends and our group.

Il Corallo Vela Nautical Club organizes sailing courses (F.I.V.) and social championships for children and adults from basic to advanced levels all year round (both in winter and summer), necessary for the competition sporty.

For the Club, bringing users closer to the sport of sailing represents the true, fundamental driving force of action, so the trained staff is committed in this direction, with the aim of opening the doors of this fabulous area to a varied group and large number of interested parties, without limits on age or in relation to possible motivations and objectives.

The Club is committed to transmitting maritime culture with all its courses and activities, teaching students to respect nature and the environment with specific courses also for children.

The course proposals are:

• Basic course for teenagers - aimed at younger people, requires a minimum age of 6 years and a maximum of 13 years. Since it is such a young user, it focuses on the more fun and "social" aspect of sailing; in fact, the children learn to understand the marine environment and its characteristics, to coexist in a true seafaring spirit as well as, obviously, leading them to learn the sailing fundamentals and the basic rules of navigation. The exercises at sea are carried out by forming a crew and are always followed by the instructor, who is also on board.
• Basic adult course - is aimed at everyone, even minors, even those over the age of thirteen. By addressing older students, the technical level of the method used increases and gives greater space to the transmission and deepening of knowledge. Also in this case the instructor will be on board during the exercises.
• Advanced Course - aimed at creating trained sailing professionals who can manage the vessel independently, deals in depth with technical topics from both a theoretical and practical point of view. This time the exercises can also be carried out individually, as well as with a crew, and are carried out with an instructor not on board.
