Circolo Ortona Sub

The Circolo Ortona Sub will allow you to discover the depths of the splendid sea of Abruzzo with diving courses and fishing activities and underwater photography for enthusiasts.

Whether you are a beginner or eager to improve yourself, Ortona Sub will guide you step by step in the fascinating experience of diving in total safety, through familiarization with the technique (diving in the pool) or accompanying you in direct contact with the underwater world (diving in open water).
Qualified instructors will assist you in two course levels :

• Beginner dive (level P1)
• Advanced diving (P2)
• Basic apnea and aquatics
• Underwater fishing bases

The Club also organizes frequent excursions to different Italian locations and holiday trips that will allow you to immerse yourself in the discovery of natural marine treasures.
Furthermore, for photography enthusiasts, it is tempting to compete in the "OrtonAmare" International Underwater Photography Competition , promoted by the Association.

The staff made up of the Club's diving instructors will introduce you to this fascinating variant of your favorite sport, providing you with all the information you need to have fun in total safety.
By subscribing to the Ortona Sub annual card (which will also allow you access to other activities organized by the Association) you will have the opportunity to undertake a free educational path that will provide you with the essential notions to support you in the practice:

• Necessary equipment, their use and modifications
• Hunting techniques
• Distinction and recognition of the main species of the Italian sea
• Suggestions and study of behavioral habits regarding the most common prey
• Guide to the best areas to dive and fish
• Legislation and current legislation on the subject

The qualified instructors will prepare you in the field of human physiology and diving techniques, essential notions for dealing with the particular conditions determined by freediving.

Wishing to immerse yourself in the Abruzzo sea, Circolo Ortona Sub is the Association that is right for you.

The twenty-year experience of the federal instructors will guide you in the first steps of joining the diving techniques or, if you are already experts, in the improvement of the technique, through courses that make use of the international teaching C.M.A.S . - World Confederation of Underwater Activities.

The scuba diving courses offered are two levels:

• P1: The basic level directed at beginners over the age of 14
• P2: the level for experts divers, always over 14 years old, which allows to increase the technique according to the needs, up to the level of instructor.

The courses are divided into hours dedicated to theory and practical lessons in the pool and open water and, by registering, you will have the opportunity to access all the activities promoted during the year.
