Croce del Sud Vela is an excellent nautical school, located in Ostia, which allows everyone to learn or improve sailing techniques, through specific courses:

• Initiation Course: (for teens and adults) takes place over the weekend and lasts a total of 30 hours. Each course must be composed of at least 4, maximum 6 students.
• Advanced Course: (for children and adults) is used to deepen the techniques learned in the basic course and the program of the lessons includes the technical tack, the technical breakdown with spinnakers, use and adjustment of the spinnaker, the buoy turns, the adjustment of the sails in the various gaits.
• Preagonistic Course: for those who want to participate in regattas; lessons are held by experienced instructors and racers.
• Hobie cat 16 course: consists of five individuals consisting of 30 minutes of theory and 1 hour of practice; ideal for those who want to sail on catamarans and very fast acrobatics.

All courses are held at the Campo di Mare Nautical Association, are held by experienced and competent instructors and provide the necessary equipment for the lessons.
