Croce del Sud Vela is an excellent nautical school, located near Ostia, which allows everyone to learn or improve sailing techniques, through specific courses:

• Initiation course: (for children and adults) takes place over the weekend and lasts a total of 30 hours. Each course must consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 students.
• Perfection Course: (for children and adults) serves to deepen the techniques learned in the basic course and the lesson program includes technical tacking, technical gybes with spinnaker, use and adjustment of the spinnaker, turning the mark, adjustment of the sails at various speeds.
• Pre-competition course: for those who want to participate in regattas; the lessons are held by expert instructors and racers.
