Gatti Corsari Sailing is a sailing school based near Livorno.

The school organizes sailing courses and individual lessons for anyone who wants to learn or improve the management of a sailboat.

The company provides a team of experienced skippers and a fleet of three boats and a catamaran.

The courses have a duration of 3 weekends and groups must consist of a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 6.

The courses are divided into:

• Basic Course: you will learn about the various parts of the boat, the safety equipment, the rig of the boat, the main maneuvers, the knots, the wind direction, true wind and apparent wind, the use of the compass and finally the reduction of the haze.
• Advanced course: you will perfect the maneuvers, reefing hands, man overboard recovery, a hint of correspondence, mooring and the use of the asymmetric
• Preparation course for the nautical license: the purpose of the exits will be to practice to pass the practical sailing test, following the method adopted in the exam
• Offshore course: it consists of a week sailing in the Tuscan Archipelago. The course includes navigation planning, equipment verification, weather, on-board maps and books, priority, use of GPS and on-board instruments, on-board shifts, galley and kitchen. The course includes the skipper, the boat, overnight stay on board.
