Promare Diving organizes diving / diving courses, with the aim of teaching diving techniques, respect for the environment and the culture of the sea, following the student from the first steps up to professional. At the end of the course, the PADI international certification is issued which allows you to dive with a scuba diver in all the waters of the world.

Throughout the year the association offers day trips, weekends and trips abroad. PromareVelais an association that aims to spread the knowledge and practice of sailing. Our association pays particular attention to the correct management of a vessel and the use of its equipment, safeguarding the valorization and diffusion of the maritime tradition.

Our Sailing Courses

Sailing courses are offered on offshore and small-sea boats. The introductory sailing course is the most significant tool for the dissemination of maritime culture. The courses are aimed both at those approaching the world of sailing for the first time and at those who are already experts and want to improve their knowledge and sailing techniques.

• INITIATION COURSE No experience is required, therefore it is open to everyone.

1. Course duration: 7 meetings of at least 3 hours
2. The Program: The bow and stern tack; - The gaits; - The adjustment and reduction of the sails; - Tacking, changing and reducing sails; - The cape, the rearrangement of the boat, the seafaring terms, fundamental issues; - Sailing center, centerboard and trim of the boat, use of the trolleys, the traveler, the base tensioner and the Vang; - Anchors and moorings, arrival and departure from the buoy and the quay.

• PERFECTIVE COURSE The course is aimed at children who have passed the initiation course and/or demonstrate sufficient experience.

1. COURSE DURATION 7 meetings of at least 3 hours
2. THE PROGRAM: Navigation planning; - Correspondence (course, distance, speed and coast recognition); - The man overboard recovery maneuver under sail and motor; - Mooring and anchoring maneuvers; - Logbook; headlights and lights; use of VHF and GPS; - Maintenance interventions on a cabin cruiser; - Notes on meteorology; - Use and adjustment of the spinnaker while cruising; - Checks and maintenance of a cabin cruiser; - Priority at sea.

• INTRODUCTION TO REGATTA: These courses are aimed at young people who are already experienced and able to sail the boat in full autonomy and who want to perfect their technique to participate in regattas.

CLOTHING Depending on the season, light windbreaker, overalls, swimsuit, cotton t-shirt and trousers, glasses, sailing gloves recommended. Before boarding it is essential to wear a pair of clean shoes with white rubber soles (trainers are also good).

EQUIPMENT In the summer period, no particular equipment is required, but we recommend hats, sunglasses, shoes with white soles and a pair of gloves. In the winter period we recommend onegood windbreaker and clothing that keeps you warm.

Promare Boat Excursion is ready to give you an unforgettable day, in fact you will live a sailing experience full of adventure and fun.

Program: Daily Excursion;

We will set sail from the Tourist Port of Pescara with the bow heading south. We will sail along the Francaville coast dominated by the majesty of the Gran Sasso and the Majella.

We will set out along the rocky coast of the Ripari di Giobbe, an ideal place for a refreshing swim.

You will experience moments during which you can pleasantly relax in the sun, treating yourself to a day in the nature and culture of the sea, feeling like the protagonist of a unique discovery.

Not only the sea, but also training. In fact, in the tiring afternoon hours, during the return to port, the skipper will be able to introduce you to the fascinating secrets of running a sailing boat,
