The Scuola Vela Ragusa was born from a project that aims at the development of water sports in Sicily , the region where the center is located. The headquarters are located in Marina di Ragusa , at the Tourist Port of the city.

The school works in collaboration with another windsurfing school and with the port, promoting activities such as:

• Sailing , offering courses at all levels for both adults and children and teenagers who aim to teach sailing in the area;

The school is based in the Tourist Port of Marina di Ragusa , on the splendid southern coast of Sicily , an ideal spot for learning this sport.

The flat sea and the constant wind never too strong will make quick and safe your path to discover the world of kitesurfing . You will be followed by expert and patented instructors who will create private courses to allow you to quickly learn all the tricks necessary to become familiar with this special board.

All lessons will take place only in case of wind below 20 knots , and are divided into:

• Basic courses , during which you will learn some basic notions both on the meteorology and on the functioning of kitesurfing and you will carry out some tests on land and in water to learn how to lead the kite wing;

At Marina di Ragusa awaits you the Scuola Vela Ragusa , a center that for years has dedicated itself to teaching water sports to adults and children who want to get closer to the sea and to navigation.

There are three courses offered:

• Specialization course 1 , a course that will take students from a basic to an intermediate level, being able to start a pre-competitive preparation that will lead them to completely master the gaits and navigation in groups , as well as several maneuvers;

• Specialization Course 2 , the last and most advanced level of the sailing course that will allow students to become absolutely autonomous during sailing, knowing the meteorology, the regatta rules, the reverse gears and departures. In short, everything you need to be true sailors!

The courses are held in groups of 3 or maximum 4 participants , depending on the level, to ensure personalized teaching and constant attention from our instructors.
