The Consortium Produttori Vini Manduria S.C.A. was founded in 1932 with the aim of concentrating the grapes of the area in an efficient and suitable structure for winemaking and marketing.
The Consortium has a wine plantation of over 900 hectares, of which over half is dedicated to the production of Primitivo wine.
Considerable attention is also paid to Negroamaro, another historic native vine of Salento whose grapes occupy 25% of the production.
