Gallorose Park was born, and still maintains, as an agricultural company which was then modified and expanded in 2006 to make room for what, to date, is its dual nature as a company and wildlife center.
Over 50,000 m2. of land that make up the center, both farm animals and exotic specimens are bred, paying great attention to the development of the native species of the Tuscan territory.
The Park hosts Amiata donkeys, Pomarancine sheep, the particular breed of horses called Monterufoli, Pisan cows, but it will also be possible to enter the marked route to observe and listen to more exotic specimens, which share habitats and territories with the local fauna.
The Gallorose Park currently includes 180 animal breeds, including Livorno hens and Maremma cows, but also zebras, locusts, parrots and ostriches; then monkeys, kangaroos, lemurs and much more, with specimens coming from all continents and ecosystems.
Also from a floristic point of view, the park aims to preserve biodiversity, with as many as 14,000 plants.
A refreshment point also awaits you with many delicacies so that you can also discover the flavors of our land.
