The Oasis has been active since 1994 as a visitable centre, having until then only dealt with the protection of the wild animals that populate the area.
Discovering that it was not a source of stress for the wild animals, the human presence in the park was introduced gradually, with the construction of almost invisible walkways that could allow the visitor to enter the colonial nesting of herons, kingfishers, woodpeckers, flamingos, storks and glossy ibis.
The integrative process is not limited in the park to the reconstruction of a natural habitat that allows the animals living conditions similar to those of the natural environment, but instead also engages in the most faithful recreation of the food chain of each species, as well as the normal relationships that the species could have established with each other in a non-captive state.
To allow even the littlest ones to come into contact with these natural realities, visits dedicated to nursery schools are organized, with qualified park guides.
Entrance to the park is permitted upon purchase of a ticket. The cost does not include the hiring of guides, which is based on an hourly rate.
