The park is the realization of a childhood dream. The land purchased by the owner Efisio Murgia was subjected to various improvement and adaptation works to make it suitable for welcoming the first arriving species, which would give life to what, since 2006, has officially become the Parco degli Angels.
With the direct commitment of its director, the park came to life with the most complete protection of the natural heritage, with construction works that were carried out not only respecting the rules of respect for the natural habitat, but also with great attention to creating a structure in harmony with the natural context.
The idea of opening the park to the public arose later, when it was decided to transform what was a simple planning project into an opportunity to allow the public to immerse themselves in a concept far removed from that of a zoo. exposure, but instead being able to observe animals living in their habitat.
The spaces in which the specimens housed within the Parco degli Angeli live are structured to be as similar as possible to their original environment, such as, for example, the area that houses the fallow deer and deer of the Parco degli Angeli, extending for 6 hectares and covered in Mediterranean scrub, within which the specimens are free to move.
As evidence of this, every year the park welcomes new offspring for all the breeds which, finding themselves in an environment suitable for life, reproduce every season.
