The Parrot Park is the research center as well as the first park, in the whole of Europe, to dedicate itself exclusively to the study of the Psittaciformes, created with the aim of observing and compiling research concerning the parrots under the pathological, ethological and cultural profiles.
The fundamental aim of the research is to guarantee the conservation of this natural species, in the belief that these precepts can, first and foremost, be taught and transmitted, the Park's experts organize guided tours to open the doors of this fascinating world to users .
The visits take place on Sundays and illustrate to visitors the ethological and biological characteristics of the species hosted in the park and communicate the research directions that the Ornithological Research Center inside the park is carrying out.
Visits to the park are free of charge, a help that will be invaluable for this young project not subsidized by public funds.
