The Parco del Sole was born a short distance from the city of Perugia with the aim of welcoming animal species that were at risk of extinction and needed protection and is, in very short time, which has become one of the essential visits for tourists passing through Umbria.
What makes the park experiment even more interesting is, without a doubt, the extraordinary integration between the species welcomed and the territory, in fact it was possible to create a perfectly comfortable natural habitat in which to settle undisturbed but assisted.
The park is ideal for carrying out school educational excursions, thanks to the possibility of observing and studying the different species up close. Visits are made easier by a particularly useful signaling system inside the park, made up of a series of educational signs that provide interesting information and curiosities about the animals.
