Special Operation Command is an association in Rome whose main purpose is the dissemination and practice of the recreational/sporting discipline of Soft-Air.
Our mission is to pursue this objective in the best possible way: since this discipline is a simulation of war operations, when the club was created we decided to take inspiration from a very specific model, that is to make the members of our club as similar as possible to the American Special Forces. We use only and exclusively original materials in full compliance with current legislation. As regards the weapons used, there is a certain freedom of models, even if we prefer all rifles from the M4, MP5, M14 and SIG series.
We always remember that this remains a game, whose only fundamental rule is the constant search for fun that passes through respect for other players, the regulations and the surrounding environment. Regarding the safety of us players but also of citizens, we are affiliated with the Csen, a branch of the C.O.N.I. which deals with non-traditional sports disciplines, which has allowed us to take out an insurance policy for civil liability against third parties.
We play on Sundays in "Fort Bragg", the code name for our woodland training camp, located at 28,000 km of the Via Flaminia. The field extends over an area of 18 hectares, alternating scenarios useful for recon missions with others useful for urban combat.
