Description of Arcieri Nomentani ASD

Circolo Arcieri Nomentano , with its forty years of work behind it, is one of the oldest Roman amateur associations.

For a long time, in Italy, archery was not given the importance it really deserved, being considered as a pastime for children, and not as a real sport . It was the Fascist Regime that revalued it, so much so that a women's tournament was instituted, reserved for the "Young Italians", sponsored by the Academy of Physical Education of Orvieto. Furthermore, since 2016, archery has become a university subject and is spreading consistently.

Here, in Fonte Nuova, this noble tradition is carried on with great respect. The center offers excellent facilities and excellent teachers both for those who are approaching this discipline for the first time, and for the more experienced and passionate.

It is a center of absolute excellence, a flagship in the Italian panorama: it is a reference circle of the CIP (Italian Paralympic Committee) and many of the students are the protagonists of national and international competitions. demonstrations are also organized. It is an integral part of FITARCO (Italian Archery Federation), federation officially recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee.

Circolo Arceri nomentani awaits you in Fonte Nuova , in the province of Rome, to introduce you to this wonderful discipline, or simply to offer you an oasis of tranquility in which to dedicate yourself to your passion.
