TheRoman Speleological Association was founded in the late 1980s by the expert nucleus coming from the previous historic Roman Speleological Association and by a group of new enthusiasts of this practice.
The initial training of members, therefore, includes a varied group of professionals from the various associations and clubs present in the area with whom we immediately begin a path of sharing intentions and an active work of exploration between the regions of Lazio, Campania and Molise.
The activities of the group's speleologists, however, are not limited only to Italian territory; abroad, the Roman Speleologists Association carries out some important expeditions, such as that of Chiapas in Mexico.
