Daytime snowshoe hike along the Piave 2 and a half hours

We present the opportunity to make a snowshoe hike along the Piave , covering the whole area near Rio del Gufo with the aim of getting to know the city of Sappada in depth. It will be a wonderful experience of 2 and a half hours that you will enjoy together with your friends and family.

We will be waiting for you at the Info Point of Borgata Bach , a meeting point where we will check if you have all the necessary equipment for the experience. If you don't have snowshoes and poles, no problem, in our center you will have the possibility to rent both for an additional price of 8 euros.

Once ready, you will be presented with a briefing by a certified instructor who will inform you about the techniques of this winter sport and the characteristics of this beautiful area of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Our staff is characterized by the quality of the training of its specialists, who are ready to explain all the specificities of the place in Italian, French and Slovenian, adapting to the customer's needs.

After the briefing, we will begin the excursion along the two rivers along a path that allows the participation of all family members from the age of 12 and that presents no difficulty as it is all flat terrain, including a final climb of only 50 meters.

The Piave area has as a background the mountains of the Carnic Alps which rise to the east of the north of the Italian peninsula and which separate it from Switzerland. You will be faced with such a beautiful scenery that you will feel like you are in a movie scene.
