Guida Franco Polo

The winter season begins with the Franco Polo Guide , a company from Sappada , in the province of Udine , which organizes snowshoe hikes lasting from 3 hours and a half to 2 and a half hours.

Its center is located in Borgata Bach , the starting point for all the planned activities. Here customers will find a staff of specialized professionals who are characterized by both their training and their friendliness.

They will welcome you with a briefing to make sure you understand the general rules of the sport. These specifications can also be given in French and Slovenian, languages that our instructors know well.

The excursions with snowshoes can be day or night and take place along various itineraries that allow you to discover in depth the Friulian territory, right between Cadore and Carnia , where they arise the Carnic Alps, close to the Belluno Dolomites . It will be possible to visit the Belvedere area, the Miravalle path or the Piave .

Participation is open to people aged 8 and over, who do not need to have any experience, only the necessary equipment to face the experience. If you don't have the proper equipment, you can pay for it by renting it at the facilities. Snowshoes and poles are available at an additional cost.
