Children's Night Snowshoeing in the Cretta Forest 2 hours and 30 minutes

Imagine a winter landscape at night, filled with long-stemmed evergreen trees rising along snow-capped mountains. Now imagine yourself in this environment. This is the scenario that the Bosco di Cretta offers you and which you can explore together with the specialists of our team during a night snowshoeing.

Come to our Info Point in Borgata Bach and start with us an excursion organized specifically for children aged 8 to 11 years. You will have fun in the company of an instructor who will welcome you with a briefing to clarify all the rules of this snowshoe sport. This briefing can be done in Italian, French or Slovenian. Our staff will adapt to you.

You will continue the activity through the Cretta Forest until you reach the Cima Sappada, a mountain in the Carnic Alps unmistakable for its spectacular grandeur. Along the way you will stop to listen to the sound of the movements of the animals in this area. The fauna is very rich in this forest and you can discover and follow their footprints. You will feel like a detective looking for clues, it will be very special.

No experience is required, so everyone is welcome without limitations. The material needed to tackle the activity consists of snowshoes and poles which you will have to bring with you. If you don't have them, you can buy them from us for 8 euros more.

We are open from the end of December to March, so come and visit us whenever you want. It will be an incredible two and a half hours!
