Have you ever heard of FAI?

If the answer is no, this is the right place to find out something about the Associazione Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano.

Founded in 1975, this non-profit association aims to protect and enhance the Italian historical, artistic and landscape heritage.

And, to do so, it takes care of the special places of our country, to preserve them and hand them over to future generations.

One of the most important points is the promotion of environmental education: teaching to love and protect the environment, together with the cultural heritage of the Nation.

Furthermore, it implements a supervisory function,in the spirit of Article 9 of the Constitution.

It refers to some fundamental principles, including independence, coherence and quality: there are numerous events organized by the Association, throughout the peninsula, in order to raise awareness of the beauties of Italy.

Remembering the importance of interdisciplinarity, it conceives cultural heritage as centers of relationships and aims to nourish the relationship between the territory and the person.
