Carriages and Caresses offers the possibility to experience the horse in a completely original way.

Our riding school is located in the middle of the greenery of Rome, in the heart of the Litorale park adjacent to the excavations of Ostia Antica . Just 3 km away from the sea train stop of the Capital, with our carriage we can offer you a taxi service , and then take you to the stable from where depart. horseback riding along the 'embankment of the Tiber .

Furthermore, thanks to our refreshment point, we offer you the opportunity to entertain you for lunch and for happy hour (dinner aperitif).

We have more than picnic area set up with barbecues and tables. For the little ones we organize pony rides and a visit to the mini animal farm.

Ostia Antica is above all known for the excavations , the Ancient Town and the Castle of Pope Julius II .

We at " Carrozze e Carezze " also want to introduce the beautiful countryside of Ostia Antica, which is part of the Parco del Litorale Romano .

In addition to the famous area of the excavations, the territory is composed of a vast surface rich in dirt paths that run along the bank of the Tiber, which can be traveled both by carriage and on horseback. This atmosphere will take you back in time making you forget the anxiety and frenzy of the modern era.

We organize half-day walks with the possibility of having lunch at the stables, or in the countryside with a nice picnic.
