The passion for our horse friends and for nature were the foundations that led to the birth of the Equestrian Center Country House ASD thanks to which you can experience uncommon emotions in the countryside of Castel Madama.

A town of pre-Roman origins, it still retains a medieval historic center of exquisite workmanship enhanced by the fourteenth-century Orsini Castle . Castel Madama is also known for the Palio Madama Margherita of Austria , which commemorates the entry into the fiefdom, which took place in 1538, by Margaret of Austria, daughter of Charles V.

The Equestrian Center is located in an area that, although it is located a few kilometers from Rome, still remains in an unexpected rural context, where horseback riding is not just a simple excursion, but an experience every new time , whose memory will accompany you even when the day is over.

All our guests, during the excursions, are assisted by an authorized guide with an in-depth knowledge of the territory . A person with a lot of passion and experience in the equestrian sector, who will allow you to visit the most beautiful places in the area so as not to miss the best of what this land offers.

The walks take place mainly inside the Agricultural University of Castel Madama, hundreds of hectares of woods and hilly scrub where it is not uncommon to meet animals in the wild.

We have horses for all levels, from beginner to first experience to expert riders who want to feel some adrenaline flowing through their veins. In any case, the assignment of horses is made exclusively by the head of the Center.

In addition to excursions lasting a few hours, we offer all interested parties interesting trekking to spend one or more days discovering the area that surrounds us and beyond. During the summer, more challenging treks are planned, even with horse transport in areas other than the usual ones.
