Monterano Ranch organizes horseback riding, trips and trekking for riders of all levels of experience.
Monterano Ranch is located within a beautiful nature reserve, where time seems to have stopped by magic.
Riders will be able to have fun immersed in the most uncontaminated nature, crossing rivers, valleys, ancient ruins, woods and admiring the local fauna in the wild.
The proposed horseback rides can last 1 hour or a whole day, while the horseback trips are scheduled for a minimum of 2 up to a maximum of 6 days (max 6 people with ranch or owned horses).
The walking routes are chosen by expert guides, taking into account the technical level of the participants:
Boasting many years of experience and great professionalism, Monterano Ranch offers training services aimed simultaneously at horse and rider (from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 1 year):
The instructors are highly qualified and will follow the students both in the riding stables and during the walking practice. The riders will learn to solve any problem that may arise during the trek: putting a shoe back on, managing the horse for a trip, dealing with a transhumance, etc... just like real cowboys!
All rooms enjoy a spectacular view of the Canale Monterano nature reserve and the Tolfa mountains. The chalets can be rented individually or for private parties and guests have free access to the centre's kitchen and clubhouse.
