The Canoa Club Trento began its activity in Trento in 1979. In these twenty-six years of activity it has organized many events of both a national and international nature, which had their culmination with the Canioa World Championships. Kayak organized in Val di Sole in 1993.
In recent years our company has preferred to carry out social tourism activities, and is always committed to training and introducing new members to canoeing, organizing courses every year both on the stream and in the swimming pool.
The CCTN organizes weekly descents on the streams of Trentino and is therefore in contact with a particular reality, that of the river environment, which allows for recreation and growth in both sport and education for members and all people who accompany them.
Respect and defense of the river environment is one of the main activities of our company, we are in fact part of the permanent committee for the defense of waters, we are registered with CIPRA (international commission for the defense of the Alps) and we are personally committed to ensuring that all members learn to love and respect our territory which is also our "amusement park".
The Canoa Club Trento, thanks to constant sporting activity, is certainly able to propose lines of behavior in river environments and is sensitive to all issues of environmental sustainability that concern water, for this reason it is actively involved in the production of the document “Kayak in Trentino”.
