Agriturismo San Cataldo was born in a place of sensational beauty, located in the Alcantara Valley, an uncontaminated area with landscapes designed by olive trees, vineyards and streams; this is where this fascinating farmhouse is located.

The structure is spread over fifty hectares, in a key point of the Sicily region: it is located a short distance from the Alcantara Gorges in front of the imposing Etna, just 20 minutes from the enchanting Taormina and near the Nebrodi.

Our farm offers horse riding for guests even during the winter period. For safety reasons, the walks are at the sole discretion of the instructor, we do not rent horses without a companion and we do not carry out excursions for beginners.

If you're daring, tackle our 10 meter high wall! This sport satisfies both the physical motor aspect (activity and training ensured!) and the psychological aspect (emotions and adrenaline).

Furthermore, our climbing wall has been structured to give you the same sensations as a natural wall, but with the safety of instructors and modern, technological equipment.

With us you can also practice indoor climbing. In fact, we have an area equipped with artificial "rock drome" panels. Make use of it when there is bad weather.

Agriturismo San Cataldo Adventure Parks awaits you in the province of Messina for fun nature trails, among the trees! Test yourself with us!

The adventure park is located inside our farmhouse, where uncontaminated nature and sport come together in the brand new routes created! In a breathtaking setting you can test yourself along the 3 routes of increasing difficulty. If you are daring, you can demonstrate all your courage by climbing the 10 meter high Free Climbing wall. Wear the safety equipment that our instructors will give you and have fun!

The skill courses are suspended in the air and develop between trunks, wooden walkways, Nepalese bridges and vines that connect one tree to another. Wooden platforms, secured to the plants with absolute respect for their health and the environment, allow them to pass from one obstacle to another. The routes are divided into: Green Route, Blue Route, Red Route. Here they are below:

• Green route: for adults and children (minimum height of 1.40). Tondelli bridge, footbridge, lumberjack bridge and Tibetan bridge.
• Blue route: for adults. Swinging ropes, walkway, swinging logs, lumberjack bridge, crazy walkway, Tibetan bridge, plank bridge, net bridge, monkey bridge and zig zag bridge.
• Red Route: for adults. Tyrolean, plank bridge, plank bridge, swinging ropes, walkway, swinging logs, lumberjack bridge, crazy walkway, Tibetan bridge, plank bridge, net bridge, monkey bridge and zig zag bridge.

The routes take place suspended among the trees. In the Briefing Area you will attend a pre-course introductory course carried out by instructors authorized in accordance with PPE. All instructors are Alpine Guides.
