Asd FreedoMountain is the center dedicated to the promotion of outdoor sports and intent on the development of the Val Fiastrone and its surroundings which since 2005 has been committed to the diffusion of a type of tourism environmentalist, capable of moving around the territory without having a harmful impact on it.

Freedom and Mountain are the terms that our name says and they are also the extremes of our philosophy of life, what best describes our proposals, for mountain lovers who seek the possibility of experiencing the beauties of this territory in total on their own skin autonomy.

We promote different sports and all the specific evolutions of each one:

• cross-country skiing
• Nordic walking
• orienteering
• snowshoes

Our activities are for individuals and groups, they take place directly in contact with nature, with the environment, thanks above all to the privileged position of Bolognola in the north-eastern part of the Sibillini Mountains National Park. Furthermore, we allow our members to make use of professionals (ski instructors, Nordic walking instructors, etc...) to learn the technical notions of the tools which will then be used in order to live the experience in a certainly safer and more widespread way. .

Our primary objective is psycho-physical well-being and to guide those who join us to discover the wonders of our mountains, goals that can be easily achieved by finding oneself immersed in the territory.

If you don't know what we're talking about, here are some tips. The snowshoe is nothing more than the modern version of the classic snowshoe, and allows you to move easily on fresh snow. It will be like going on a real trek but in a surprising environment and with the beautiful sensation of snow under your feet.

It is a less rapid alternative but certainly more accessible than cross-country skiing, the gesture similar to that of a natural walk and the help of the pole, in fact, makes the activity truly accessible to everyone.

For those who want to participate assiduously in snowshoeing, the activity constitutes a practical way of getting in touch with Nordic Winter Fitness, combining the movement of the lower limbs with the upper ones as in Nordic walking, with enormous benefits from from the point of view of physical training and significant energy (and effort) savings.

The FreedoMountain sports association hosts Nordic Winter Fitness courses as well as numerous opportunities to take part in guided snowshoe hikes around the Val del Fiastrone.

The most evocative excursions are those organized at night, equipped with all the equipment provided by the association, including a head torch to be able to move in the dark illuminated by the starry night.
Night excursions always take place in the company of a certified NWF instructor and end with a nice dinner together.

A key discipline of Nordic skiing, cross-country skiing is not to be understood only as a competitive activity, but as the possibility of moving in a fast, fun and free way on a snowy surface and, therefore, an excellent solution for lovers of mountains who want to explore its most surprising views.

At FreedoMountain you will have the certainty of finding only trained and qualified instructors specialized in this discipline, recognized by the FISI and able to help you acquire, in a decidedly limited time, the techniques necessary to tackle your first experience on the cross-country ski slopes of Val FIastrone.< /p>

This team of professionals will be available to aspiring students throughout the winter season, holding courses aimed at beginners as well as advanced courses for those who already have technique.

Lessons are available every day and are suitable for private individuals as well as groups.

Equipment rental is available at the center directly near the slopes.

The practice of Nordic involves a peculiar conception of the walking gesture as a means of developing health. The association of movement with the use of poles allows careful control of body position and gives Nordic walking the definitive aspect of a particularly beneficial and effective sporting discipline from a training point of view.

The correct execution of the walk as required by the Nordic rules allows you to develop and significantly increase strength and resistance.

Nordic Walking is able to put all the body muscles in motion like its counterpart on snow, cross-country skiing.

The FreedoMountain action area, in the beautiful Val Fiastrone, allows us to enrich this increasingly interesting practice, as the region is an area with landscapes of naturalistic richness, especially in the Bolognola area. immersed in the Sibillini Mountains area.

Asd FreedoMountain Orienteering invites you to have fun with our original orienteering competitions! Join us in the Sibillini Mountains to test yourself against your friends!

By participating in an orientation test you will rely on a special topographical map, a specific type that is used specifically for this discipline. In fact, the map contains special signs recognized internationally.

The orienteering "competitions" can take place with the participants divided into teams or with the players each engaged in their own qualification, the objective will be to note down all the points (markers) that can be identified during the race.

There is no pre-established environment within which to dedicate oneself to this sport and its definition as a "woodland sport" simply derives from the original location that welcomed the practice, but it is a sport that can become particularly evocative if played outdoors interior of historic centers or parks and much more.
