The Alma Palatium Tourism Promotion Association , based in the Makumba campsite area, in Palazzo San Gervasio, is responsible for offering its guests a large number of services sports and tourism.

The campsite is located on the shores of Lake Frontetusio , also known as Lake Santa Giulia , immersed in a wood of 700 hectares wineskin, full of trails , streams and fauna.

The association takes care of welcoming tourists and carrying out a large number of sports, naturalistic and cultural activities in the area.

In fact, the following disciplines can be practiced at the structure:

• Sport fishing in the lake

• Hiking or cycling in the woods

• Mountain Bike Rental to discover the Santa Giulia wood in total autonomy, following the appropriate signs created for you or in the company of authorized and qualified guides

• Shuttle Bike on the lake

• Yoga and pilates , with courses that are held periodically aimed at training both the spirit and the body

• Orienteering and survivor

• Guided tours to the marquis castle of Frederick II and to the Pinacoteca Camillo D'Errico

• Tour by plane to admire the Lucanian lands aboard a Cessna

• Horseback riding

At the camp it is also possible to stay and have an area equipped for picnics.

Among the various activities proposed, the horseback riding in the woods which extends for about 700 hectares near the Lake Frontetusio stand out.

Immersed in greenery and nature, you can ride on beautiful animals in the company of an expert equestrian guide , who will take you to discover hidden places of extraordinary beauty. You can gallop on the shores of the lake and then go into the woods, before returning to the center.
