Borgo Roncone is a family-run farmhouse, where you can breathe a welcoming and private atmosphere.

Located just 2 km from the historic center of the medieval city of Viterbo, at 550m above sea level. and immersed in the greenery of the "Borgo Roncone" woodland park, away from noise and traffic.

We provide our guests with independent apartments complete with services recently recovered from an old stable, a riding school, paths in the woods easily accessible on foot or by mountain bike, spa facilities just a few minutes' drive away, the historic center and shopping 2 km away, “Lago di Vico” 10 minutes by car, historical sites and typical restaurants.

Borgo Roncone Passeggiate a Cavallo has specialized for 20 years in the breeding, training of show jumping horses and riding school.

The Borgo Roncone riding school is made up of 10 masonry boxes, several hectares of paddock, 1 20X40 sand field, 1 30X60 sand field, 1 2600m2 obstacle field, 2 grass fields for beginners in cross country .

The lessons are held by Mr. Salvatore Ranucci, federal F.I.S.E. instructor. II level and show jumping rider.

It is possible to follow courses for beginners or for competitors in all Olympic disciplines (show jumping, dressage and eventing). Lessons take place all year round and in the summer period it is possible to follow intensive internships with a program of exit in competition. The stages are also aimed at those who practice non-competitive and more amateur horse riding and wish to learn aspects related to ethology and horse care.

For children aged 4 to 6 years Borgo Roncone Horse Riding includes courses in pony games, environmental education, getting to know the pony, pet therapy, construction of semensai, excursions in the splendid woods of the Monti Cimini and many other educational activities aimed at stimulating manual skills and empowerment in adolescents.

For those who want to practice equestrian tourism there is the possibility of horseback riding in the woods of the Cimini Mountains. They are simple and easy routes for riders and horses, with variable slopes and thanks to the sandy surface they can be traveled even in case of heavy rainfall.
