Discover Sardinia Canoa invites you to take part in our exciting excursions aboard single-seater canoes or kayaks, to discover the wonderful internal basins of the island.
There are three itineraries available:

• the first concerns Lake Maccheronis in the municipality of Torpè in the heart of the Barony, a few km from Mont' Albo;
• the second embraces the territory of Gavoi in the heart of Barbagia right under the Gennargentu chain, Lake Gusana;
• the third runs along a stretch of the Cedrino river with some of its tributaries, from the famous source on the Gologone until it meets the Rio Flumendosa and the Rio Caddaris in the Dorgali area.

Discover Sardinia Canyoning invites you to discover the thrill of canyoning. To carry out this activity, basic knowledge of mountaineering equipment, ropes and knots is required and is therefore aimed at those who have already had experience in this sport or similar ones. The discipline consists of tackling the bed of watercourses that feature waterfalls, lakes and leaps into the void downhill with the aid of mountaineering equipment (harnesses, descenders, carabiners, etc..).

The scenarios that Discover Sardinia Canyoning offers you, excellent backdrops for canyoning are:

• Pentumas Lanaitto Valley (Oliena). It will be a short but intense experience! In the Lanaitto valley, near the “Sa oche” cave, a pedestrian path climbs up a limestone ridge which leads from the valley to a plateau under Punta Cusidore (Sobana). From here the gorge begins which with twelve jumps (between 20 and 6 m) leads back to the valley floor.

• Flumineddu “Giunturas (Urzulei). The longest and most difficult canyoning route on the island. After an off-road transfer you arrive inside the Urzulei supramonte in the Sedda Arbaccas area and from here a small path begins that leads into the Rio Flumineddu gorge. The landscape becomes increasingly harsh and wild, the walls of the gorge increasingly narrower and higher until you reach the start of the first jump and from here onwards a continuous alternation between overhanging jumps, toboggans, small waterfalls and fantastic, sometimes underground lakes. Once you arrive at Sas Giunturas, the excursion is to be considered over if it weren't for the short and tiring ascent to reach the starting point.

Discover Sardinia Trekking invites you to discover the natural beauty of Sardinia by walking.
The excursions we propose, which offer different lunch options and are perfectly organized as regards transfers, are:

• Tiscali. One of the most famous paths in Supramonte that leads to the Nuragic Village of Tiscali (4th century BC). The itinerary winds through one of the most evocative areas of the island, surrounded by high rocky walls (cliffs) and accompanied by ravines, caves, holm oak and juniper forests. After an hour and a half of walking you reach the entrance to the well-known sinkhole from which you can take part in the interesting guided tour of the Nuragic village.

• Supramonte of Oliena. Easy and spectacular loop that touches one after the other the three peaks (Sos Nidos, Carabidda, Ortu and Camminu) that overlook the town of Oliena. On the northern front, the city of Nuoro and the Baronia plain, behind, the immense lunar landscape of the Supramonti of Oliena, Orgosolo and Dorgali. From the "scala e pradu" pass, along a ridge flanked by imposing towers you arrive at the highest peak of the Supramonte, Punta Corrasi (1465 m.). Excursion suitable for those who love trekking at high altitude.

• Goloritzè. Certainly well known by climbing enthusiasts for the presence of the enormous limestone monolith (L'Aguglia di Goloritzè, 135 m.). From the Golgo Plateau you follow a steep panoramic path that follows the codula of Bacu Goloritzè. After crossing a centuries-old holm oak forest you arrive at the beautiful white pebble beach. To return, follow the uphill path.

• Cala Luna. Despite being a very popular and well-signposted path, it is one of the most evocative in the whole of Sardinia. Unique from a landscape and naturalistic point of view, the route follows the profile dictated by the crystalline sea of the Gulf of Orosei. The morphology of the territory is similar to that of the nearby Supramonti of Orgosolo and Oliena. After crossing a few codula you reach the now famous beach of Cala Luna.

• Gorroppu. The most popular destination for hikers both for the spectacular and immense walls and for the presence of numerous lakes, gorges and caves. Certainly one of the wildest and most impervious areas of Sardinia, suitable for those who already practice canyoning and for expert trekkers. However, the proposed basic itinerary manages to reach the center of the canyon without any use of ropes or other mountaineering equipment.

• Mount Ortobene. An easy walk at the gates of the city of Nuoro. Rock sculptures, the 7 fountains, the CAI route and the statue of the Redeemer. Panoramic points and a fantastic food and wine stop at the “Roccas” farmhouse.

• St. Theodore.Entrance and visit to the Monte Nieddu forest oasis through natural roads immersed in a splendid setting of Mediterranean scrub and red granites. Once we reach the foot of Monte Nieddu we will begin our trek of about 40 minutes to enter the canyon and thus reach the waterfalls and freshwater pools for a regenerating bath. After an hour's rest we will begin our ascent to get to the off-road vehicle. Before leaving this little paradise we will visit one of the most interesting panoramic points, from where we will be able to admire around 50 km of coastline from above.
