Ferula Viaggi Rafting allows those who want to venture into the practice of a river discipline to spend fun hours in direct contact with nature.

Within the Pollino National Park you can go on exciting rafting descents on the Lao river, with 7-seater inflatable boats.

You will be guided by friendly guides who will help you spend unforgettable moments. You will descend 12 km of the river and a minimum number of people will be needed to set off on the adventure.

Ferula Viaggi Trekking enjoys an excellent position, as it is located at the foot of the Pollino National Park, rich in different species of flora and fauna, which you can admire through an outdoor trip open, in direct contact with nature.

You can choose between some cultural-naturalistic itineraries:

• Pollino National Park: Pietra Castello, Lake Duglia, Grande Porta del Pollino, Casa del Conte; at 2000 meters above sea level.
• Montescaglioso: Benedictine Abbey;
• Miglionico: Crypt of Original Sin, Malconsiglio Castle.
• The Lucanian Dolomites: the Gallipoli-Cognato forest and the rocks of Pietrapertosa and Castelmezzano.

The excursions last a day and it is advisable to carry them out in the period from March to November, when the vegetation is more lush and the weather is milder.

• The Rolling Hills: self-guided tours that start from the Sassi and go along Lake San Giuliano (wildlife oasis, natural reserve of animals of particular interest) among the rolling hills of Matera.
• The Bradano Valley: excursion among orchards and olive groves, from Matera to Montescaglioso, to visit the Benedictine Abbey. (without guide)
