Metafarm is an association born with the aim of creating an experiential link between tourists, local populations and local producers.
Our innovative model provides for direct contact between the public and local producers, through the implementation of a sustainable experience that involves the involvement of communities.
You can find us in one of the most evocative places of Campania , between Amalfi and Positano , areas not only fascinating for their landscapes, but also for the variety of herbs, vegetables, fruit and plants that grow in these places.
Precisely for this reason our idea tries to coincide these aspects and to promote and support our local producers .
We organize trekking routes where we will collect herbs, fruit and vegetables together in the terraces of the Amalfi Coast.
The aim is not only to show you the landscapes, but to give you practical knowledge about the nature that grows in these places.
Accompanied by an expert agronomist we will have to learn to recognize herbs, spices and vegetables.
Once this experience in the field is over we will go to our laboratories where together with local producers we will learn how to work and which recipes to prepare with what you have personally collected.
In this way you will have the opportunity to create your own dishes followed by a local chef, and try a food and wine tour different from those usually offered.
We look forward to seeing you!

Metafarm organizes food and wine excursions in the Amalfi Coast , combining walks and tasting of local products.
But really the experience is not the usual food and wine tasting.
In fact we will go together to collect the products with which we will prepare our lunch together .
In the terraces of the Amalfi Coast we will be able to collect edible herbs which we will then use to prepare our dishes with the support and suggestions of the local chef Giacomo Miola .
Our chef, expert in these areas, will guide you in the preparation of unique dishes that you will make with your own hands.
Our food and wine day will end with a great lunch for everyone , where we can try together all the dishes you have prepared, as well as typical local dishes and good wine.
Participating in our tastings, even if everyone has to collaborate in cooking, will not be difficult because our chef will always be ready to help you.
Suitable, therefore, for cooking enthusiasts and not, we recommend this experience because it is a way to experience nature differently, discover local products with your own hands and have direct contact with those who produce all the goodness of the territory.
You can't miss it!

Metafarm Gastronomic Trekking is a unique experience on the Amalfi Coast that combines hiking activities with local food and wine .
In the company of our gastronome Matthew Altieri, we start the discovery and collection of wild herbs edible along the paths and coastal terraces of the Positano area.
The day continues in the kitchen, where the participants will make a lunch based on everything they have gathered.
The last act is dedicated to lunch, conviviality and tasting the products of the day.
Degree of difficulty: easy, undemanding, within everyone's reach.
It is a not long itinerary on narrow streets or wide paths that are always evident and marked and that does not require orientation skills. It never touches high altitudes and the differences in height are less than 500 meters.
Along the walk you will see the landscapes of the Coast, the typical terraces and the areas cultivated with some local products: tomatoes, lemons, herbs and more.
Requires normal physical preparation for walking.
We look forward to seeing you!
