Mont Abruzzo welcomes you to our mountains with the Italian School of Mountaineering, ski mountaineering and climbing.

Join us in Pescara, more precisely in Abateggio. We are at the center of breathtaking itineraries between the pastures and the peaks of the Maiella, an immense mountain where fifteen peaks exceed 2,500 meters above sea level. Furthermore, we also have a comfortable B&B to stay in complete comfort!

We boast thirty years of experience in sporting activities on peaks all over the world, and thanks to this we have developed a method that allows maximum satisfaction for those who follow us and maximum safety in activities. We organize ourselves in small groups to ensure good learning of the techniques taught, avoid confusion and guarantee optimal safety standards.

We take care of the programs, taking care of them down to the smallest details, differentiating them according to your profiles and keeping them flexible to meet the abilities and needs of the participants. If you want to self-organise in groups of friends we will be sure that the harmony will facilitate learning. The techniques taught are those standardized at a national level by the Italian School of Mountaineering, Ski-Mountaineeringand Climbing.

In the heart of the Maiella National Park, where our center and theB&B are located, we will be able to explore the most surprising paths, a real dream for the hiking enthusiast who here will be spoiled for choice, among the most varied routes and all rich in extraordinary natural treasures.

• Excursions and well-being. 7 excursions, three of which are guided, massages and healthy eating. Get back into shape at our centre.
• Cooking School and Excursions. A weekend to go on excursions in the National Park and prepare lunches and dinners as if in a training course, learning to prepare the traditional dishes of Abruzzo cuisine and dedicating half an hour a day to soft free body and outdoor gymnastics with an instructor, as well as sauna and massage, to undertake soft and pleasant excursions.

You know Sport Climbing. Born from mountaineering, it is now completely independent. We will support you with a guide who will teach you the little tricks to get by in every situation. The places where you can practice it are: the rock climbing gym of Roccamorice and the Abruzzo cliffs, or on request, at the seaside cliffs of Gaeta, where you can climb by the sea!! Experience the spectacle of the Tyrrhenian Sea under your feet with climbing routes for everyone.

We have the headquarters of the mountaineering school and also Bed & Breakfast with 10 beautiful rooms, 200 meters from the bear wall in Roccamotrice, in the province of Pescara.

There are 300 perfectly equipped routes for all levels of difficulty. Individual rock climbing lesson lasting three hours.

The instructor is Giampiero Di Federico, alpine guide, former national instructor of Italian mountain guides, who will be happy to guide you on this interesting journey.

Being in the heart of the Maiella national parkmany other paths lead to the summit of this massif considered the wildest mountain in Europe.

On request they can also be organized in Greece, Croatia, Slovenia and Sardinia. In winter we invite you not to give up this sport: from October to May practice it on the 7 meter high artificial walls in the indoor municipal gym of Tocco Da Casauria (PE) followed by an expert guide! You can also take advantage of individual lessons or courses of 4 sessions lasting three hours each.

We invite you to enjoy an adventure package designed for you: Rock climbing based in our B&B. A few hundred meters from the structure all climbing enthusiasts will also find over two kilometers of rock face, on which it will be possible to try up to three hundred ascent routes of varying difficulty.

Mont Abruzzo Rocciodromo is the active mountaineering and climbing school in the province of Pescara .

The headquarters of the mountaineering school is associated with a welcoming Bed & Breakfast with 10 beautiful rooms just 200 meters from the bear wall in Roccamotrice , in the province of Pescara.

To discover the beauty of Abruzzo and the very mountainous opportunities that sport climbing enthusiasts offer with its 300 perfectly equipped and suitable all levels of difficulty , train with a school of mountain professionals.

The rocciodromo will allow you to train in winter for climbing on the cliff or along the many rock walls, the instructor Giampiero Di Federico, mountain guide and national instructor of the Italian mountain guides , will assist you with the individual rock lesson of three hours.
