Enjoy the most beautiful views of the Alps while skiing in Cortina! Slopes of various difficulty levels await you (including the most exciting black slopes in the Dolomites!), guaranteed snow and 8 hours of sunshine a day.
The Valle Skipass will allow you to ski on all the slopes of the Cortina d'Ampezzo, Auronzo-Misurina and San Vito di Cadore areas for a total of 140 km of slopes (belonging to the Dolomiti Superski circuit).
Here are the most famous locations in more detail:
- Ra Valles - reachable from Cortina with the Freccia del Cielo cable car offers medium difficulty slopes surrounded by a spectacular environment; altitude between 2,850 m and 2,200 m
- Tofana - red and black slopes (splendid and challenging!), such as the legendary Canalone, Vertigine Bianca or Olimpia where the women's skiing World Cup races take place every year; the slopes downstream are easier
- Socrepes/Lacedel/Pocol - easy slopes particularly suitable for children and beginners
- Cristallo - the new four-seater lift takes you to Son Forca in just a few minutes, where the Cristallo ski slopes start, famous for having seen Alberto Tomba born; they have a programmed snow system; the Rio Gere track is approved for national level competitions; the more experienced will be able to climb up to Staunies (3000 m) to tackle the famous black slope Canalone Staunies (the steepest slope in the Dolomites!)
- Mietres - 5 slopes of easy and medium difficulty, suitable for ski club training; special sled track
- Faloria - 30 km of snow-covered and groomed slopes; the modern Faloria cable car takes you from the center of Cortina to an altitude of 2134 in just a few minutes
- Cinque Torri - one of the areas of Cortina where you can ski best due to the quality of the snow and the modern programmed snow system; the slopes develop on two opposite sides and are easy and of medium difficulty, all however very satisfying due to the beauty of the landscapes
- Lagazuoi/Falzarego - from the top of Mount Lagazuoi, reachable by cable car from Passo Falzarego, the Lagazuoi slope starts (3.5 km long and with a difference in altitude of around 600 m) and the Armentarola slope (one of the most famous slopes in the Dolomites, 8.5 km long and extraordinary for the beauty of the panorama).
- Col Gallina - the slopes are the first to come into operation already in November and among the last to close the facilities; suitable for children and beginners; the main track is approved for slalom competitions and equipped with two timing systems
