Barefoot Surf School

Barefoot Surf School is a surfing school born from friendship and passion for surfing.

Located in Rome, this surfing school shares its passion by transmitting it to all those who want to try their hand at this impressive water sport which has attracted visitors for years the attention of all those who wish to test themselves and dedicate themselves to the practice of wave surfing or to the technical study of this sport.

The school was the first to offer surf lessons in Lazio since 2005 and both single lessons and complete, collective courses are managed by qualified instructors who hold a patent of the International Surfing Association (I.S.A.), trained within Surfing Australia and qualified by Surfing Italia.

The courses of all levels include a three-level preparation scale: beginner, it will teach you the basics for learning safety in and out of the water, technique for standing up on the surf (prone to feet) and warm-up; intermediate to learn weather and sea forecasts, reading surf spots, choosing the correct equipment and more.

The last is the advanced level where the main objectives are: surfing in any condition performed with style, speed and control in the critical section of the wave with fluid combination of all maneuvers.

The school is based in the province of Rome, but our favorite places for surf lessons are: Santa Marinella, the Castle of Santa Severa, Cerenova, Torre Flavia, Fregene, Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo and the precise place is chosen from time to time depending on the storm surge to avoid the currents and do as much surfing as possible.

The Barefoot Surf School is a school that takes into account all ages and all difficulties, not only offers surf lessons, but also courses, private lessons and lessons for children , so that they can all experience in their lives the love of the waters, the discipline and that they want to test their skills and acquire new ones.
