The Kitepoint school was born in Anzio in 2004, thanks to Carlo Pompili (a lover of water sports such as kitesurfing, surfing and windsurfing), today he is president and manager of the same school.

Kitepoint Kayak was born in Anzio in 2004, from the passion and dedication for water sports of Carlo Pompili, president and head of the school.

Kitepoint Kitesurf is a reference sports association for kitesurfing for the municipalities of Anzio and Nettuno, and the whole area that includes the provinces of Rome and Latina.

His collaboration with local authorities and institutions is active, especially as regards the protection of the territory and the promotion of sporting activities at sea.

The school has a large area where you can practice kitesurfing, where the courses are held, although often the lessons are held in different points of the Roman coast depending on the wind.

Kitepoint collaborates with the most important surf shops in Lazio and is also a Materials Test Center, thus allowing its members and lovers of this sport the opportunity to test the best equipment in the sector by providing support and support in case of purchase of kitesurf products.

Individual lessons are provided and the courses are of 4 types:

• Approach Course: structured in two lessons, it includes a first practical-theoretical lesson in which the notions of sailing and kite flying are explained, where you begin to fly immediately; and a second lesson in which kitesurf tools will be used.
• Basic Course: consisting of six lessons. The first three will be held on the beach and will cover a theoretical part in which the materials and their use will be explained. The last three will take place in the water and will concern the actual practice in the water with the use of the first techniques learned.
• Advanced Course: divided into three lessons, it serves to improve everything that has been learned in previous courses. It includes video footage that will allow students to improve their mistakes by watching their respective videos.
• Expert course: consisting of three lessons, it serves to improve everything that has been learned and put into practice previously.

The Kitepoint Windsurfing School is located on a very windy beach, where the wind blows parallel to the shore (so you go out sideways).

In recent years we have developed a teaching method that allows everyone to learn windsurfing quickly and to perfect it in a short time, always closely followed by the instructors and helped by technical aids

The shallow and sandy bottoms allow you to easily learn the waterstart technique without drifting into deep water and having to swim back.
