• Is Arenas Beach: Located in the province of Oristano, this beach offers a beautiful location for surfing; it is a fun experience for both novices and experienced surfers.

• Capo Mannu: This is a true national and European surfing destination. This beautiful harbour, 30 kilometres from Oristano, is exposed to all four winds, particularly the mistral, which can produce waves up to 4 meters high. A few kilometres away is Mini Capo, a popular place for professionals and home to multiple surf schools!

• Chia: Chia Bay, with its lovely beaches and breathtaking views, is ideal for surfing all year. In the summer, it will undoubtedly be busier, although, in winter, it is perfect for peaceful surfing. Cala Cipolla, an interesting spot with medium-height waves and appropriate for intermediate-experienced surfers, is worth mentioning in this area.

• Buggerru: Among the several places in this area, which is located in the southwestern part of the Sardinian island, we recommend the Molo for guaranteed fantastic waves, Portixeddu for experienced surfers, and San Nicolò for everyone, including professionals and beginners.

• Porto Ferro, 18 kilometers from Alghero, is ideal for novice surfers since it is uncrowded and has sandy bottoms. Beginners should try surfing the right-to-left waves, while professionals should try surfing along the cliff sections, where the waves can reach up to 4 meters.

• Santa Maria di Gallura: The Rena Majora beach and the Santa Separata bay are two of the best places to visit in this area. The first has a sand and rock mixed seabed that is also appropriate for beginners, while the second has clean seas and is completely free of rocks.

• Isola Rossa: Located in the province of Sassari in the northern half of the Sardinian island, the best place to surf here is Marinedda Beach, ideal for surfing due to its choppy waves and sandy bottom.
